You can easily do all the basics formatting like lists, sorting, images headings etc etc etc.My favourite features are importing from existing files from a lot of common formats and open MS Office attached in e-mails keeping all formatting and formulas as google docs.

Bibme is an excellent free service to fin full reference information to cite, and the best part is that they provide full format service as MLA, APA or Chicago. You can create your own collection save them and export them.
