yes yes, im still quite busy this days, luckly for some and not that much for others i haven't been able to post much. here are some answers to the most searched topics on the blog Enciclomedia Regardging the results of Enciclomedia follow this link to download "el libro blanco" with results. although be warned that results have been quite questioned for the process in which they where built Orb on GSM This can EASILY be implemented with a GSM sniffer on a stumbling scale (move while you scan) or there a full edge commercial applications to hook up the a carrier and profile the entire network. Bonus In a completly non-related topic next saturday a very special event will be held in monterrey. jojojo For the first time in nearly 4 years 2 of the best underground dj's from the eastern block scene will play here in monterrey. And i'm talking about the real thing here, not that fancy parties that cost much and no good music is produced. (*tiesto* cough cough) For our deligth Bashmeisters Dimitrov and Blizz Radoijcic are playing in kitsch. I dont know bout ya'll but ill be hanging around.

Ok Guys I'll try to give answer to some of the most frequent searches you've made in the blog. It seems people keep looking for the same kind of content. I Hope these can help out a little. Orb Published here and restate media blog It is a Stumbling/Sniffing Project. Aimed to profile the information usage and knowledge creation related to physical locations. Current Information is pretty outdated I need to re-write the articles to update the progress and changes. As soon as we finish the visualization on post it. It's still only in concept level, never the less we have already managed to recreate manually the functions of the Orb devices which should automatically stumble and log traffic information. The last stage of the proof of concept (ugly version) is the data visualisation which can be really any kind of graph sound shape etc. Srdjan Radoijcic will help me out on this one. When i spare some extra cash to buy hardware i'll go on and make a hardware prototype For now, we only have a collection of opensource tools run by hand and the logs uploaded to a database by hand... If you guys want to learn more about the current state of the tools we are using msg me. Cracking WiFi With PSP Sorry guys, this is currently impossible and even if it was technically posible, it would be a really pain in the ars: 1) the wlan interface in the psp cannot be used in passive mode. 2) the arm processor would take ages to complete the work. Although Jean Yves has a pretty stumbler Personally just take you laptop and use some wardriving tools. I currently use kismet airsnort and several others. check out the backtrack distribution I use a stripped version of slax on a USB, much faster than booting from cd. If you guys want a tutorial, let me know Hacking Net Library Another no-cant-do guys. But this actually has a pretty nice solution. you can downlaod any Internet streaming recording tool. Basically these tools record what comes out from your audio card so instead of playing internet radio you just play the wma file and start recording. and that's it.. you get yourself a copy of the wma in mp3 without the locks. Just bear in mind that these probably means that you'll be infringing some copyrights. If your dog gets eaten by RIA don't blame me GSM Security mhhh I'm afraid i cant talk much about this. but i'll ket you know this. It is completely possible to eavesdrop any conversation in a gsm network for the encryption is very weak. Personally if you want to make a proof of concept you could get a not that cheap mobile version from Scandeas. If your concerned about your own privacy you can always get an encrypted phone. Some Nokia models are available from Grid Lock. I would get the N72 or 6630 if your into mobile apps. Which takes to mobile.nmty.org tons of mobile apps. Well hope these give you guys some idea on the questions that you have been repeating. let me know if you would like to learn detailed info

Passive Stumbling and Information Awareness (Or love story of stumbling and knowledge economy) NOTE: this was first published in the restatemedia.net blog, but since this is my personal notebook i place a copy here as well warning: under conceptualization Ok so here's a second try. The Orb is a wireless network stumbling platform, there i said it. Now why on earth should we need a stumbling platform, don't we have already those bunch of kids trying to crack our wifi networks ? Why give them more toys ? Well in first place, let me clarify that this is a Stumbling platform not a wardriving tool, nor a network cracker / sniffer, so let us see a little bit more of the difference between these two.

(SmoPuTraNet) ON DEVELOPMENT DRAFT (i dare you to find a better name.) NOTE: this was first published on the restatemedia.net blog. but since this blog intends tobe my personal notebook i'll place a copy here as well. The purpose of these networked set systems is to provide a smoother use of public transport system in Monterrey, taking advantage of emerging Technologies, which we hope when the times come to develop the project, they would have reached a mature stage. The solution network consists in the connections between mobile devices, enhanced translucid displays on driver’s front glass and advanced rich interface terminals in each bus stop as client applications for mobile devices. This deployed in such a way, that users might access relevant and even personalized profiled information of different bus routes in real time and request service, from rich terminals and their mobile devices. Ok lets dig it, this terminal window is placed in each bus stop, replacing those ugly advertsising poster that they put on these days. both sided for multiple use or fot different information display. lets make up an example shall we ?
