Today I got a message from Ugo Trade he talks about a theme that we all are familiar with but i never actually read a blog with this approach.
He constantly keeps track of how technology is used to fight leverage divide all over the world (mostly in the middle east).
Now he points me to a special post regarding Home Town Baghdad a pod-cast following a life’s of several guys trying to survive in Baghdad:
“The brave Iraqi subjects and crew risked their lives daily to make this series. They want to show the world what life is like when your hometown is a war-zone. We believe that people who see their stories will want to share them with others. That’s why we’re distributing them online. So please - watch them, rewatch them, tell friends about them, comment on them, and link to them.”
Lucky for us, they have launched a contest for a new logo for their podcast, the only requirements is an PNG of 300 x 300 (since it is for itunes) send your designs to mike (mike at hometownbaghdad dot com).
I simply love the way personal broadcasting can connect us to the rest of the world, and make use aware of two main things:
How hard it is to live somewhere else in the world
How lucky my country (Mexico) is, if we could only learn to appreciate our blessings…
Cheers to Ugo Adel Ausama and Saif, thanks for sharing such experiences with the rest of the world

BaÄ¡dÄd is the capital of Iraq and of Baghdad Governorate. With an estimated population of seven million, it is the largest city in Iraq.[1][2] It is the second-largest city in the Arab world (after Cairo) and the second-largest city in southwest Asia (after Tehran).
